The wifi situation at an airport is an issue that’s close to my heart because, well, layovers are boring, and I enjoy letting my family and friends know that my trip is progressing safely.
On that note, I’m going to start trying to keep track of what airports have and don’t have (free) wifi available.
First on the list is my current home base: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
They do have free wifi! You simply have to agree to their terms and conditions, and you get logged off every hour. The helpful little screen tells you to save your work regularly, and you’re allowed to log in as many times as you’d like.
I wish I could say this little perk was my reason for moving to Amsterdam, but that’s simply not true.
I’ll update this if I see anything different, and please let me know if you pass through the airport and notice some changes!
