My name is Alex, and I like to travel.
I grew up hopping all over North America with my parents, and we seemed to go on a trip whenever we had any opportunity.
An addiction was born.
Then, in college, I studied abroad in Brussels, and I fell deeply in love with Europe.
But, back to the University of Colorado I went.
Eventually, I learned that graduating into a recession didn’t have the glamorous jobs and massive paychecks that I was hoping for, so I had to get creative.
I put my business degree in a drawer, and I caught a plane to Hungary where I spent a year teaching English in a small town called Békéscsaba.
One year was enough of small-town life, but the Hungarian culture had seized me. So, I decided to teach another year, but this time I packed my bags for Budapest.
My teaching passion fell. My love for Budapest appeared.
It was time for an MBA at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
Two years later, with a freshly printed degree in my hand, I found myself hopelessly in love with a Hungarian girl, and we moved to Amsterdam together.
I don’t know what will happen next, but I do know this:
I, Alex, will travel.
This site is primarily about my passion for travel. If you want to know more about my professional life, check out my other website: AlexHoskinson(.com).
